Nice one

Wow, the designs of the characters, the scenery, and everything are really unique. The animation is amazing too, the movements are realistic, the shots are really clever, and it must have taken a loong time to do some all that. I'm not so sure I like the music in the background so much but that's probably just my opinion, and also some sound effects would help a lot. The only other real criticism is that I was thinking while watching it 'Wow, this is good, but what is going on??'. So there's a river in the sky? The city is on that huge boat? And it gets attacked? And I'm still not sure where and what those red lantern type things on chains are. But anyway, I'm sure it will be cleared up in future chapters. I look forward to see them!

LordDF responds:

Sorry about the unclearness. The lantern looking things on the chains were underwater cities within the huge boat, so yeah, the city was in the boat.

They are getting attacked, but I can't tell you why or by who yet. :P

Very mad

This is quite insane... it only has a few seconds of simple animation, so it doesn't look as good as your other stuff. Also McGee doesn't look much like a shrimp, or even a prawn, and he sort of makes me want to poke his eyes. The 'facts' that he spews are hilarious, you really should send some lies to 'Dave's web of lies'! Also, I live in swindon, I should look for this John Murray building and survey the nine continents of the world from its summit. He really does need to stop dancing though.

HappyHarry responds:

Mate, I lived in Swindon til October (went to Commonweal and all that) I was referring to that massive building in the town centre, but I think I called it the wrong name...

Whoa.

Oh wow, that was insanely well done. All that fighting is just so good, the artwork is pure joy to the eyes. Something about the way it's animated works really well... the way it's just WHAM amazing thing WHAM incredible stuff. The music fits really well too. And the characters are all trying to murder each other but you sympathise with them all, they all have their own reasons. 'Its not your right to play God... it's mine', ha ha, brilliant. That bird-man just smashing the swords in his hands, wow. Those inverted colours at the end do look a bit... cheesy, though. Meh, I have nothing to criticise, good work.

Whoa

Whoa, that felt really wierd when I saw my name in the flash portal, ha ha. Anyway, this is great, the graphics are very good, both the more still images and the animation, though a few scenes could have a little more animation in. I like the scene with the clouds over the sea for some reason. The menu effects are very professional looking. I recognised the voice of Barney from half life there, good game. That robotic voice is hard to hear though, maybe making it louder would help. It did look a bit strange when thay fought in mid-air, because they were just floating there. It would make more sense if the robot had a jet pack or something, and the alien could have wings maybe. Or they could be fighting as they fall from a great height. But overall, a good animation.

Heh

When I saw the title of this I thought: seven... sky... did I make this without knowing? Hahaha. Anyway, this is quite a good animation. Maybe it's because I didn't watch part one first, but it does seem hard to tell whats going on. The different shots are good but it seems sort of confusing, lots of abstract looking magic or whatever, there are lots of close up shots and you rarely see the whole picture, maybe more colour would help clear it up a bit more too, as there is a lot of black in this. Also, the lightning/cloud effect at the start looked pretty ugly, as did some of the gradients. The music worked well with this I think. Oh yeah, I don't think the 'flickering' when he runs around works too well either. I like the way he uses ice on that sword to freeze it, good idea.

Black-Crystal responds:

hmm.. he's not actually using ice to freeze the sword but Seven's mask seem to have a ability to generate a shield. The shield is made of ice becos Seven himself has some special power which he cleverly combined it with the power of the mask to produce a Cold-Shield.

Could be interesting

This could have a good story to it, with lots of random stuff and violence and ancient chthonic creatures deep under the earth. The opening shot reminded me of 2001. I like the spaceship, pretty good. The shot where it lands in the water is great too. Poor archaeologist (I spelled that wrong). The scribbly style works, though a few more details would be nice. Also some suspenseful music would work well, or possibly just some ambient background sounds like dripping water etc.

That's a lot of animators

This was a simple idea but I enjoyed watching it. It's good to see the range of different styles: some were comical, some were excellent visually, though some were too plain without much happening I found... well, it is only for a few seconds. He he, I even saw a juice carton with a face saying 'rawr', that's Olly Moss's character! Hmm, the music was chosen well, it doesn't distract you from the 'action'. Overall, not so bad.

Good job

This is an excellent piece of animation. I like general feel of it, the drawings are great and well detailed, and you did a good job of showing it's at night. The fighting was good, as were his magic powers. I also like it where he draws his sword and there's a flash of light... you know what I mean. The sound I found was too quiet... the voices were anyway. Also, the voices all sound very similar. The old book looks very good, I like the cover, though it's awkward to read without punctuation (and did you mean a QUIET and tranquil place?). And 'pathetic wrenches', that did make me laugh. Anyway, I look forward to seeing the next one, good work.

What a funny idea

Ha ha, a parody of star trek, 2001, AND the flintstones. I never would have thought of something like that, but it does work. I like the smooth animation, and you did a really good job of making it look like the flintstones cartoon style too. Voices and music work well too, its's all good, nice job. Ha ha, and that guy must wish his other coloured shirts weren't all in the wash.

Good one

I liked this for some reason, probably because of the excellent visuals and animation. Though I didn't quite get what it was about exactly, just some sort of political thing. The bit with the nuclear explosion was well done I think. I liked the little elephant too of course. Poor beetle, his creation turned bad so he had to destroy it.

My hovercraft is full of eels.
